Note that Rhonda Fleming was just 22 and had not had any real parts before being cast in this movie. But when she learned she was a "nymphomaniac", she said "I didn't even know what a nymphomaniac was. My mother and I had to look it up in the dictionary."! Important Added Info: The window card originally had a blank top that was neatly trimmed off (this was commonly done with window cards, when the top had been left blank, or when someone had hand-scrawled play date information in that area). Most collectors do not consider it to be a significant defect at all, since only blank white paper is lost, and the window card becomes easier to frame. This window card was never folded. Often window cards would be folded across the middle, because that would make them 11" x 14", and they could then be sent with standard folded posters. Most collectors put an added value on a window card that has never been folded. Condition: good. The top blank area of the poster was trimmed off. There are outlines of tape stains in the left 2" of the top half of the image (they are faint and mostly seen when this card is tilted to the light). There is a piece of tape in the upper right blank border. There are many smudges and faint stains around the edges of the card and some scattered through the image. Certainly, this card has significant defects, but it is also true that a talented restorer can likely remove much of the stains and smudges through chemical means. After proper restoration, this card will look great, and it may not need very much paint restoration within the image area. But please do not bid on this card unless you can accept its very clear defects or are willing to pay to have it properly restored! Learn More about condition grades
