A 1950 Re-Release Vintage German Film Program (measures 7 1/4" x 10 1/2" [18 x 27 cm]; 4 pages) (Learn More) Der Postmeister (released in English-speaking countries as "The Stationmaster"), the 1940 Gustav Ucicky German/Austrian romantic melodrama starring Heinrich George (in the title role), Hilde Krahl, Siegfried Breuer, Hans Holt, and Ruth Hellberg. Note that this film was banned by the German government after they invaded Russia due to the positive portrayal of Russians in the film. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this is a "country of origin" item for this partially German movie! Also note that we have provided an image of all the pages of this 4-page program (we did this by opening it and laying it flat and photographing the front and back cover together, and the interior two pages together). This way, you see the entire program, and can well determine the exact condition of it from our super-sized image. But of course this means that the front cover appears in the top right of our image, but normally, the program would be folded down the center and you would view the cover by itself (and it will be sent folded as was originally intended).
UPDATED 10/01/2013: Note that this program is from the 1950 re-release of this film and NOT the 1940 first release as we initially listed. Condition: very good to fine. Learn More about condition grades
