An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures 3 1/4" x 4" [8 x 10 cm]) (Learn More) The Mollycoddle, the 1920 Victor Fleming silent Hopi Native American Indian romantic adventure comedy ("Story by Harold MacGrath"; about an American raised in Monte Carlo, who is a polo player, who always wears evening clothes, and he goes to visit his birthplace in Arizona on Indian land, and he has many adventures) starring Douglas Fairbanks Sr., Wallace Beery, Morris Hughes, George Stewart, and Ruth Renick. Note that this was one of the first United Artists movies, but none of the movie paper for it we have seen has any studio information, and we have seen two entirely different types of lobby cards, so one might be an early re-release, but it seems impossible to tell which is which! Important Added Info: Note that glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). This slide is the kind that has two panes of glass that are taped together with black tape around all four edges (front and back), typical of many older glass slides. We have provided a high quality scan of the image, but we have not taken a photo of the slide, because there would really be very little to see! Condition: fair. There is scattered staining in between the panes of glass (see our image). The theater that used this slide wrote the days the movie was playing in the play dates section at the bottom of the glass.
