An Original Vintage Theatrical Tri-Folded Japanese "B2" Movie Poster (measures 20" x 28 1/2" [51 x 72 cm]) (Learn More) Dai-bosatsu toge (released in the U.S. as "Sword of Doom" and in in other English-speaking countries as "Killer Samurai"), the 1966 Kihachi Okamoto Japanese samurai revenge action melodrama (about a student whose father is unfairly killed by a brutal gang, and he leaves school and one by one, he kills every member of the gang) starring Tatsuya Nakadai, Toshiro Mifune (in a small but important role as the master who trains the student), Yuzo Kayama, Michiyo Aratama, Yoko Naito, Tadao Nakamaru, and Ke Sato. Note that this movie has an abrupt ending because it was intended to be the first of at least a trilogy of movies (it is based on a legendary 41 volume single novel!), but no sequels were made. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this is a "country of origin" poster for this Japanese movie! Also note that this poster was tri-folded only (which means there is no vertical machine fold) but because it would be more expensive to send flat, it will be sent rolled in a tube. Condition: good. There is a 1" tear in the background at left and right and there is much tattering and some paper loss around the edges of the poster. There are tape stains across the top and bottom edges of the poster. There are some creases throughout the poster from it being oddly folded at one time. Learn More about condition grades
