Wilke, Ted de Corsia, and Carleton Young. Note that the studio claimed that Kirk Douglas did all of his scenes himself, refusing a stunt double, even for the "thrilling and dangerous underwater scenes"! Important Added Info: Note that we have only previously auctioned one example of this Italian locandina, and that was 17 years ago. That poster has now been reconsigned to us after all these years, so it is still the only example of this poster we have ever auctioned! What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good. The poster had a number of horizontal folds across the center, with a small tear in the left, in Mason's beard. It had some small tears, pinholes, and small paper loss around the edges. Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer backed the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above.
