An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures 3 1/4" x 4" [8 x 10 cm]) (Learn More) The Whistle, the 1921 Lambert Hillyer silent family relationship melodrama ("Written by Lambert Hiller from a story by May Wilmoth & Olin Lyman"; like all William Hart movies, this has a very complicated plot about a man who works in a mill, and he begs the owner to upgrade the equipment, and the owner refuses, and then the man's son is killed in an accident; the man coincidentally rescues the infant son of the owner from a car crash, and he kidnaps the baby, intending to raise the boy as his own, to replace his lost son; but when he sees how the owner and his wife are completely grief stricken, he confesses and returns the child to them) starring William S. Hart, Frank Brownlee, Myrtle Stedman, Georgie Stone, and Will Jim Hatton NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). This slide is the kind that has two panes of glass that are taped together with black tape around all four edges (front and back), typical of many older glass slides. We have provided a high quality scan of the image, but we have not taken a photo of the slide, because there would really be very little to see! Condition: very good to fine. There are a few tiny bits of black tape missing, but otherwise, the slide is in nice condition! Learn More about condition grades
