An Original Vintage Theatrical 8 1/4" x 10" [21 x 25 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Alfred Hitchcock is perhaps the most famous English director of all-time, directing many groundbreaking and classic movies from 1921 to 1976. He would often appear briefly in his own movies as a gag. Some of his movies include: Rear Window (nominated for the Best Director Academy Award for this film), North By Northwest, Psycho (nominated for the Best Director Academy Award for this film), Vertigo, Strangers on a Train, Notorious, Rebecca (nominated for the Best Director Academy Award for this film), Shadow of a Doubt, The 39 Steps, The Lady Vanishes, The Birds, Dial M for Murder, Lifeboat (nominated for the Best Director Academy Award for this film), Spellbound, The Man Who Knew Too Much (he made this one TWICE!), The Trouble with Harry, and many, many more! He passed away in 1980 at the age of 80. Important Added Info: Note that there is a stamp on the back crediting photographer Bob Beerman, and another stamp from Photoplay magazine. Beerman was a celebrity photographer throughout the 1950s, and we believe this is from that time, but we don't know anymore about it.
