An Original Vintage Theatrical Autographed 8 1/4" x 10" [21 x 25 cm] Stage Play Still (Learn More)

Stewed Prunes, the 1960 off-Broadway stage play comedy revue starring Richard Libertini (billed as "Dick Libertini"), MacIntyre Dixon, and Lynda Segal. Note that this show was created by the above three performers, who had been classmates at Emerson College in Boston, and the show was very successful, running for a year in New York. They then took it on the road, and Libertini was asked to join the Second City Improvisational Theatre Group. He spent several years appearing in stage plays, and had some great roles in TV shows like "Mary Hartman" and "Soap". His most memorable performance was as the Spanish-American dictator in "The In-Laws" in 1979!

Important Added Info: Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by BOTH Richard Libertini AND MacIntyre Dixon! Note that this is surely as early a signed item by Richard Libertini (when he was billed as "Dick Libertini") as figures to exist, because it is from 1960, which was many years before he made his mark on Broadway, or on TV, or in movies (see above). Not surprisingly, there is a zany "Happy Halloween" inscription on the still! Note that this signed photo was consigned to us from the estate of Bob DePietro, who was a very longtime collector/dealer of movie memorabilia. He also worked in the movie business, and had close contact with many celebrities, and acquired many signed items in person. He is no longer with us to tell us how this signed item was acquired, and there is no certificate of authenticity, but we feel certain it is authentic. Also note that this still measures 8 1/4" x 10" [21 x 25 cm].

Condition: very good.
