An Original 1948 (from the first release of this movie in Germany) Vintage German Film Program (measures 5" x 10 1/2" [13 x 27 cm]; 6 pages) (Learn More) Caravan, the 1946 (released in the U.S. in 1947) Arthur Crabtree English historical romantic adventure melodrama ("The great new lover of the screen!"; "WOMEN would kill for him! WOMEN would die for him! WOMEN can't help loving him!"; "His Love Makes a New Kind of History!"; "A man's man... a woman's wish... all six feet three of him!"; "From the famous novel by Lady Eleanor Smith") starring Stewart Granger ("The Great New Lover of the Screen!"), Jean Kent, Anne Crawford, Dennis Price, Robert Helpman, and Gerard Hinze NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this program is from a special series of showings of American movies in the "American Zone" of West Germany beginning in 1945, and running for the next three years or so (apparently, Laura was so popular that it was shown in both 1946 and 1947, and there are two different programs for these two different showings). Each of these special programs have "Published with approval of Military Government" printed on the back. In 1946, West Germany began having regular showings of American movies, and the same movies that were shown in these special showings between 1945 and 1948 were again shown beginning in 1946, so there would be two different programs for each of these movies, one like this, and one "regular" program issued later. Also note that this program has six pages, but it is printed on a large single sheet that is tri-folded (we have photographed each side of the program completely unfolded). Condition: very good.
