I Married a Witch, the classic 1942 Rene Clair witchcraft romantic love triangle time travel fantasy comedy ("No man can resist her!"; "I Married a Witch ...and I'm not complaining would you?"; "Based upon a story by Thorne Smith completed by Norman Watson"; "She gets what she wants with.... Hex appeal!"; a complicated but enjoyable tale of a 17th century witch who was burned at the stake with her father, and she returns to the 20th century with her father to get revenge on the descendant of the man who burned them, but, through a very complicated process, she ends up falling in love with him instead!) starring Fredric March, Veronica Lake, Robert Benchley, Susan Hayward, Cecil Kellaway, and Ann Carter
NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography.
Important Added Info: Note that we have provided an image of the front and back covers of the pressbook, plus one 2-page interior spread, but of course, the winner of this auction will receive the single pressbook we are selling! Also note that pressbooks were prepared prior to a movie being released. Often, changes would be made in a movie advertising campaign (billing of actors, different images, etc.), and the theaters would print up special supplements that they would send out with the pressbooks that had already been printed. These supplements are very rare, far more rare than the pressbooks themselves! Some pressbooks would have no supplements, some would have one, and some would have several.

Condition: fair. The pressbook is uncut, but the cover of the pressbook originally had a color "tipped in" plate that was lightly glued to the top corners of the white box on the front cover. That tipped in plate is missing, SO PLEASE DO NOT BID ON THIS PRESSBOOK UNLESS YOU CAN ACCEPT THAT THE TIPPED IN PLATE IS MISSING (but the pressbook is otherwise uncut and the poster page is unaffected)! Note that this pressbook was folded across the center at one time. Because of this, this pressbook can be sent in one of our standard size packages (if it is purchased together with pressbooks that can NOT be folded, then it will of course have to be sent in one of our oversized packages). But if this pressbook is purchased by itself (or solely with other pressbooks that can be folded), then the shipping will be much lower, because it fits in a standard package.
