Note that Bess Meredith was a screenwriter on 157 different movies, mostly between 1913 and 1941, but she is completely forgotten today, except by the most dedicated film buffs, even though there are some great movies among her credits, including Ben-Hur (1925), The Mark of Zorro (1940), and many others!
