Important Added Info: Note that most people who collect presskits might think that they started in the 1960s, but actually, there were "press kits" quite a while before that! These very early presskits began in the late 1940s, and they were not like later presskits in that they did not have any stills at all, but they contained a single ad slick that usually measured around 14" x 22", with newspaper ads of various sizes on one side. It also had a supplement around 12 pages that would have the cast and credits of the movie, along with a synopsis of the film, and biographies of the cast and crew. These would be contained within a printed envelope that had a newspaper ad on the cover and the words "Your PRESS KIT" at the top. Very few of these early presskits survive, and they are extremely rare, but please remember that they contain no stills. Note that in the case of this presskit, we only photographed the cover, and not the ad slick or the supplement.

Condition: good to very good. The envelope has aged, but the contents are in nice condition.
