Note that this was the second RKO Tarzan, and once again, Maureen O'Sullivan could not be hired, because she was an MGM contract player, and RKO did not want to cast a "new" Jane, so they once again explained her absence by saying that she was away, working as a nurse for the British troops in World War II! However, we have previously auctioned a different example that had a December 1945 date on the back. We believe that the heralds were printed in 1945, but were still being used 14 months later, when the movie was still playing in Spain. Also note that when Spanish heralds have printing on the back, we picture both sides, but when they are blank on the back, we only picture the front. Condition: good.
