An Autographed 8" x 10 1/4" [20 x 26 cm] REPRODUCTION Still (Learn More)

Bobbie Gentry is a country music singer from the 1960s to the 1980s. In 1967, at the age of 23, she wrote and sung an album of country songs. She was born Roberta Lee Streeter in Chickasaw County, Mississippi, and her songs often dealt with her background. Her first single was "Mississippi Delta", but it was the song on the flip side, "Ode to Billie Joe", which became incredibly popular, and made her a household name (and it was made into a movie in 1976). Everyone wanted to know exactly what it was that Billie Joe McAllister and his girlfriend threw off the Tallahatchie Bridge, but it is still unclear to this day what it was. She continued performing until 1981, and since that time, she has not performed publicly. From 1968 to 1987, she was a partial owner of the Phoenix Suns. She currently lives in Mississippi, less than two hours from the Tallahatchie River bridge!
Important Added Info: Note that this REPRODUCTION still has been personally autographed (signed) by Bobbie Gentry! Our consignor obtained this autographed REPRODUCTION from a friend, who went to collectibles shows and obtained this autograph in person. He does not have a certificate of authenticity, but it is personalized to him, and we believe the signature to surely be authentic.

Condition: very good.
