Hugh Herbert") starring Conrad Nagel, Edith Roberts, George Fawcett, Gwen Lee, Eddie Gribbon, Phillips Smalley, and Gertrude Bennett. Note that this is a "lost" film, which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that the artwork on this poster is unsigned, but it seems to certainly be the work of noted illustrator John Held Jr. If anyone knows for certain that Held did this artwork, please e-mail us. Note that the card measures 13 1/2" x 21 1/2" and has no left, right, or bottom blank white borders, but it has NOT been trimmed (this was done at a time when MGM was experimenting with having as few borders as possible). Also note that this poster has been paperbacked. What is paperbacking? This means the poster was backed onto a paper backing (acid-free), that is similar in feel to that of the original poster (except somewhat heavier). It is a similar process to linenbacking, except that most collectors use linenbacking for one-sheets and paperbacking for half-sheets, inserts, window cards, and lobby cards. Condition: very good. Prior to paperbacking, the poster had some creases, tears, and smudges around the edges. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to paperbacking.
