An Autographed Photo (measures 5" x 7" [13 x 18 cm]) (Learn More) Peggy Lee was a singer, songwriter, and actress from the 1940s to the 2000s. Some of her hit songs include: "Is That All There Is?" and "Why Don't You Do Right?". Some of her movies include: The Jazz Singer, Lady and the Tramp (for which she wrote multiple songs, but the most memorable one was The Siamese Cat song), and Pete Kelly's Blues (nominated for the Best Supporting Actress Academy Award for this film). Lee passed away in 2002 at the age of 81. Important Added Info: Note that this item has been personally autographed (signed) by Peggy Lee! Note that this item was consigned to us from the family of Ken Jones, who was an author of books about movies (including books about character actors and western stars). In the course of researching his books, he became friends with many Hollywood actors, and he would ask them to autograph stills for him (originals if he had them, or repros if he did not), and they obliged, usually returning the stills to him with a personalized inscription "To Ken". The family does not have a letter of authenticity for this signed item, but we feel certain it is authentic, given Mr. Jones' personal relationship with the star. As is true of all the signed items we are currently auctioning, we give every buyer 30 days in which to review what they purchased and they can return any item as long as it is within 30 days of the end of the auction. On non-signed items, we give a "lifetime guarantee" on everything we auction, but on signed items, we give the above modified guarantee of 30 days after the auction closes. Condition: good to very good. Learn More about condition grades
