Date Sold 7/19/2015 Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. a lot of 8 wardrobe test 4x5 photos from Diane, the 1956 David Miller romantic love triangle melodrama ("Lana Turner dares the devil in 'Diane'."; "Based on the Story 'Diane de Poitiers' by John Erskine") starring Lana Turner (in the title role as Diane), Pedro Armendariz, Roger Moore (in his 4th credited very early role), Marisa Pavan, Sir Cedric Hardwicke, Torin Thatcher, and Taina Elg. Note that all of these wardrobe test stills measure 4" x 5". Some of them have a visible clapboard in the image that gives the details about the movie and some do not. The studios would use these images for reference if they needed to shoot additional footage at a later time. We do not provide a list of these stills, but there are images of all of them (some of the stills do not identify either the movie or the people pictured).
