She had a strong southern accent and became known as "Honeychile" on Bob Hope's radio show, where she made numerous appearances. Some of her movies include: Speed, That Girl from Paris, and Little Miss Broadway. She was just as famous for her off screen life and her on screen appearances, and some thought her the inspiration for Truman Capote's Holly Golightly in Breakfast at Tiffany's. She later married an Austrian prince and became Princess Alexander Hohenlohe, a celebrated hostess and socialite. Wilder passed away in 1995 at the age of 81.
