An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (LC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More)

Too Many Kisses, the 1925 Paul Sloane silent France family relationship romantic love triangle melodrama (about the rich father of a playboy son who sends him to France, thinking the French women won't like him, but he immediately gets in the middle of a romantic triangle, and his French rival is played by William Powell in one of his early roles!) starring Richard Dix, Frances Howard, William Powell, Frank Currier, and Harpo Marx (in an early role without The Marx Brothers; as The Village Peter Pan, and we don't know if he is pictured on any of the advertising). Note that female lead Frances Howard had appeared in just two movies after this one. Producer Samuel Goldwyn managed to convince her to marry him less than one month after "The Shock Punch" (her final leading role in 1925) was released, at which point she retired (with the exception of one movie in 1935), and she remained married to Goldwyn until his death 50 years later. Oddly, she is supposed to have a life-long love for gay director George Cukor, and when she died two years after Goldwyn, she was buried next to Cukor!

Important Added Info: Note that first release 1925 movie paper from this movie is incredibly rare. We have never auctioned even a single first release U.S. movie paper item (except a single still) from this movie until we received this lobby card! Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has.

Condition: very good. There are tiny dot stains in the left blank border. Otherwise, the card is in nice condition. Note that this lobby card is completely unrestored and there is not a single piece of tape on either the front or back!
