The stated goal of the organization was "to strengthen and unite, for health activities, already-existing Red Cross Societies and to promote the creation of new Societies". In 1983, the organization was renamed to League of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies Artist: Henri Neveu Condition: good to very good.
