Tales of Japan, the 1986 art exhibition poster ("Scrolls & Prints from The New York Public Library"; "Made Possible by Continental Insurance with additional support from the Mary Livingston Griggs and Mary Griggs Burke Foundation, the National Endowment for the Arts, and the New York State Council on the Arts") advertising the exhibition which was held in the New York Public Library's Gottesman Exhibition Hall from February 1st through March 25th, 1986. Note that this poster features detail from "Poetry Match of the Thirty-six Immortal Poets" by Genkyu!
