Edge Of The Artic Ice, the 1972 Tink Klang arctic adventure documentary ("No Man's Land of the Frozen North..."; "Dared by a family who defied savage nature to conquer the Arctic!"; "SHELTER... A canvas tent surrounded by a wall of ice 60 below zero."; "A TRUE LIFE STORY! The adventures and heartbreak os the Helmericks, Striving 30 years to survive the frozen Arctic! They built an outpost on the polar ice pack... And still live there today."; "WATER... Beneath a lake covered with a solid lid of ice 20 feet thick."; "FOOD... An endless prairie of snow. Struggle for wild game... And the constant search for fish under a frozen sea.") starring the Helmerick family. Note that this film is about a family (Harmond, Martha, Mark and Jeffrey Helmerick ) who lived 185 away from the United States' northernmost community in Barrow, Alaska. The world premiere for the movie took place in Wisconsin.
