An Original Vintage Theatrical 8" x 10 1/4" [20 x 26 cm] Movie Still (Learn More)

Just Another Blonde, the 1926 Alfred Santell silent New York City gambling romantic love triangle comedy ("Adapted from story by Gerald Beaumont"; about a pair of best friends who are professional gamblers, and they split everything they win 50-50, but then one falls in love with a girl from Coney Island, and they obviously can't "split" her, so they try to find another girl for the other friend, and they do, but the couples end up switching with each other) starring Dorothy Mackaill, Jack Mulhall, Louise Brooks, and William Collier Jr.

Important Added Info: Note that any movie paper from this Louise Brooks movie is incredibly rare. We have only previously auctioned a single still (which sold for $835) and a glass slide until we received this still!

Condition: good. The still is lightly rippled throughout, due to exposure to moisture. The still was used in a newspaper or magazine and there are light paint enhancements around the edges of Brooks' figure (so it would show up better in the printed article), as well as some faint printer marks in the borders. There is also a faint smudge running down the center of Collier's face, but it is mostly only noticeable when the still is tilted to the light. See our super-sized images to get a good sense of the condition of this still. In spite of its defects, the still can definitely be displayed and enjoyed as it is, or it could have restoration that would greatly reduce the rippling.
