5s027 LOT OF 29 ITEMS FROM THE EXORCIST '74 mini LCs, 8x10 stills & presskit, horror classic!

Date Sold 10/23/2011
Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price.

a lot of 29 items (mini lobby cards, 8x10 stills, and a Dutch presskit) from William Peter Blatty's The Exorcist, the classic 1974 William Friedkin satanic possession horror thriller ("Something almost beyond comprehension is happening to a girl on this street, in this house. and a man has been sent for as a last resort. This man is The Exorcist."; "Screenplay by William Peter Blatty based on his novel"; nominated for the Best Director and Best Picture Academy Award) starring Ellen Burstyn (in her nominated for Best Actress Academy Award role; as Chris MacNeil), Max Von Sydow (as Father Merrin), Lee J. Cobb (as Lt. Kinderman), Kitty Winn, Jack MacGowran, Jason Miller (in his nominated for Best Supporting Actor Academy Award role; "as Father Karras", and likely playing the title role), and Linda Blair (in her nominated for Best Supporting Actress Academy Award role; "as Regan"; since her possessed voice was dubbed in by Mercedes McCambridge, and since much of her possessed sections involved special effects, some argued she should not have been nominated at all, or that Ms. McCambridge was more deserving of a nomination!)

Condition: good to very good. All of the stills have a faint embossed foreign stamp in the top right.
