An Original Vintage Theatrical Autographed Deluxe 6 1/2" x 8 1/2" [17 x 22 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Theodore Roberts was an actor from the 1910s to the 1920s. He was born in 1861, and he started on the stage in 1880. When movies started, he quickly became a major star, even though he was over 50, and appeared in 23 of Cecil B. DeMille's movies, earning him the nickname of "The Grand Duke of Hollywood". His most famous role was in the 1923 version of The Ten Commandments, where he starred as Moses. He passed away in 1928 at the age of 67, and his funeral was attended by 2,000 people! Important Added Info: Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by Theodore Roberts! Our consignor is a longtime collector who purchased this signed item from a reputable dealer. He does not have a certificate of authenticity, but we believe the signature to likely be authentic. Also note that this still measures 6 1/2" x 8 1/2" [17 x 22 cm], but it has not been trimmed. Finally, note that this is a deluxe still printed on double weight paper stock. As is true of all the signed items we are currently auctioning, we give every buyer 30 days in which to review what they purchased and they can return any item as long as it is within 30 days of the end of the auction.
