Coca-Cola (Coke) is a carbonated beverage that was created in 1886 by Colonel John Pemberton. At that time, Coca-Cola's two main ingredients were cocaine and caffeine, and it was initially marketed as a tonic that could cure morphine addiction, dyspepsia, neurasthenia, headache, and impotence. Today, Coca-Cola is a world-wide corporation and the soft drink (and many other beverages under the Coca-Cola brand name) can be found in every corner of the globe.
Artist: William Heaslip
Important Added Info: Note that Coca-Cola produced a set of 20 3x4 collectable cards called America's Fighting Planes in 1942, and in 1943 they produced a set of 20 13x15 "hangers" with the same William Heaslip artwork (they also created a 1943 booklet called Know Your War Planes). The aircraft in the sets included: Bell P-39 Airacobra, Boeing B-17 Fortress, Consolidated B-24 Liberator, Consolidated PBY Catalina, Curtiss P-40 Warhawk, Curtiss SB2C Helldiver, Douglas P-70 Havoc, Grumman F4F Wildcat, Grumman F6F Hellcat, Grumman TBF Avenger, Lockheed C-69 Constellation, Lockheed P-38 Lightning, Martin B-26 Marauder, Martin TBM Mariner, North American A-36 Invader, North American B-25 Mitchell, Republic P-47 Thunderbolt, Vought-Sikorsky F4U Corsair, Vought-Sikorsky OS2U Kingfisher, and the Vought-Sikorsky YR-4 Helicopter. Note: We have 11 images of the items in this set, but due to a space limitation, only TEN of the 11 images are displayed above. However, there is a "supersize" link to the right of those images that lets you see the other 1. Note that this auction also includes the printed envelope this item originally came with!

Condition: good to very good. Some of the small posters (which are printed on a stiff cardboard stock) have some dot staining on back and some edges, but it is not very noticeable or distracting on front. The original envelope itself has much staining and paper loss. Please see our super-sized images to get a good sense of the condition of these items prior to placing a bid.
