A Folded French Advertising Poster (measures 59" x 78 1/2" [150 x 199 cm]) (Learn More)

Bas Reverlastic DD (literally translates to "Reverlastic Stockings DD"), the 1950s French advertising poster (with a tagline which translates to "Special weaving of the nylastic lace cuff, extensibility and solidity") promoting the purchase of hosiery, and featuring Gad artwork of a woman's leg and a black cat. Note that "nylastic" was invented in the late 1940s, at the same time as rayon, and was an artificial substitute for more expensive silk.
