An Original Vintage Deluxe 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Still (Learn More)

The Beatles were a legendary English rock band from 1960 to 1970. With members John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr, they became widely regarded as the foremost and most influential act of the rock era. They are the best-selling band in history, with estimated sales of over 600 million records worldwide, and many consider them to be the greatest rock 'n' roll (rock and roll) music musicians of the 1960s, or perhaps ever! Some of their movies include: Help!, A Hard Day's Night, Let It Be, and Yellow Submarine
Important Added Info: Note that this photo has "22/6/63" written in pen on the back, which would surely seem to indicate it was taken on June 22, 1963. This was the day that The Beatles gave a concert in Abergavenny in Wales, and they attended a reception given by the mayor and mayoress of Abergavenny, Councillor and Mrs. J.F. Thurston. This was their only performance in Abergavenny, although they had other performances in Wales in 1962 and 1963. WAS THIS PHOTO TAKEN IN 1963? We can't say for certain. Please read below for what we know about this photo BEFORE you place a bid on it. Note that these photos and others of the Beatles (which we are auctioning in a total of 4 lots) were consigned to us by a man who obtained them from a close friend's wife. That woman's first husband had been a roadie for The Beatles and other bands in the 1960s and 1970s. She had these photos in frames, and she told our consignor that her husband obtained them in the 1960s or 1970s. He has no certificate of authenticity, and we have no way of verifying what he says, although the photos are clearly vintage, although the three that are color photos are on Kodak paper (but those three color photos are also clearly vintage). PLEASE DO NOT BID ON ANY OF THESE FOUR LOTS UNLESS YOU CAN ACCEPT THE UNCERTAINTY AS TO WHEN THEY ARE FROM AND BY WHOM THEY WERE CREATED. We will give the buyers of any of these four lots 30 days in which to do any research, but 30 days after the auction has ended, they will not be returnable for any reason, so bear this in mind before bidding on any of these photos. Also note that this is a deluxe still printed on double weight paper stock.

Condition: good. Someone folded the left 1" of the still at a slight diagonal. There is a faint partial horizontal crease across the middle of the still, but it is mostly noticeable in the left 4". There are creases scattered around the edges of the still (one goes through Paul's hair and the long crease at left goes through Ringo's hair down his cheek; see our images). This cool photo can be displayed and enjoyed as it is, or certain, one could choose to have restoration performed.
