An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41") (Learn More) Lew Lehr's Dribble-Puss Parade, the 1939 stock poster for the series of comedy shorts created by Lew Lehr (billed as "Directed and Described by Lew Lehr America's No. 1 Screen funnyman!"). This particular poster was created in 1939 by 20th Century-Fox. Lehr began this series of humorous shorts in 1932 and created over 300 of them over the next 25 years. He was a well known comedian of the time and his catchphrase was "Monkeys is the cwaziest peoples." If anyone knows more about this poster, please e-mail us and we will post it here. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good to fine. The poster had small paper loss at the crossfolds and some minor fold and border wear. Overall, the poster was in very good to fine condition prior to linenbacking.
