An Original Vintage Theatrical Unfolded Style A Half-Sheet Movie Poster (1/2sh; measures 22" x 28" [56 x 71 cm]) (Learn More) Destination Tokyo, the 1943 Delmer Daves World War II (WWII) Japan military submarine spy espionage thriller ("Warner Bros' explosive story... big as the broad Pacific!"; "From an Original Story by Steve Fisher") starring Cary Grant ("commands the crew that 'cases' Tokyo Bay - and points the finger for the bombers that plaster Tojo's home town!"), John Garfield ("wants action... And gets more than his share, when their sealed orders are opened!"), Dane Clark, Robert Hutton, Warner Anderson, John Ridgely, Alan Hale Sr., and William Prince NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this poster has never been folded! Some pre-1970 half-sheet posters were folded twice horizontally at the poster exchange, while some were not. It can be difficult to find an unfolded example of many pre-1970 half-sheet posters (note that most post-1970 half-sheets were NOT folded, so they are pretty much only found unfolded, and therefore this does not apply to those half-sheets). Condition: good to very good. There are some creases and tears of varying lengths around the edges of the poster (generally 1" or less but some are larger - see our image). Many of the defects as described above have been repaired with several pieces of tape from the back. Learn More about condition grades
