An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures 3 1/4" x 4" [8 x 10 cm]) (Learn More) Bottoms Up, the 1934 David Butler show business con man musical romantic love triangle crime comedy ("Sparkling with Laughs and Songs and Tears!..."; "Comedy... Love story.... Songs"; about a con man who helps a couple break into the movie business because he has designs on the pretty lady, but when she starts a romance with a male star, he has to make a tough choice) starring Spencer Tracy, Pat Paterson, John Boles, Herbert Mundin, Sid Silvers, Harry Green, and Thelma Todd NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). This slide is the kind that has two panes of glass that are taped together with black tape around all four edges (front and back), typical of many older glass slides. We have provided a high quality scan of the image, but we have not taken a photo of the slide, because there would really be very little to see! Condition: very good. There is slight smudging on the glass (it is not very distracting, and it could likely be cleaned). The theater that used this slide wrote the days the movie was playing in the play dates section at the bottom of the glass. Otherwise, the slide is in pretty nice condition!
