eMoviePoster.comAuction History Result 2c058 SHIP OF WANTED MEN 1sh '33 stone litho art of Dorothy Sebastian fighting off a man! Date Sold 10/2/2014Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) Ship of Wanted Men, the 1933 Lewis D. Collins (billed as "Lew Collins") seafaring crime melodrama ("An original story by Ethel Hill"; a wacky story of an Shanghai-like island where there are no laws and anything goes, and a beautiful socialite ends up there because she has apparently murdered a man, and she must fend off the unwanted attentions of the worst man on the island!) starring Dorothy Sebastian, Fred Kohler, Leon Ames (billed as "Leon Waycoff"), Gertrude Astor, Maurice Black, James Flavin, and Jason Robards Sr. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note this one-sheet was folded once across the middle only (which means there is two less horizontal machine folds than usual). This means the poster has a significantly lesser number of folds than one-sheets folded in the "regular" way, which is nice! However, this one-sheet will need to be sent in an oversized flat package, which measures roughly 16" x 23", so it will cost more to send than a regularly folded one-sheet, especially if sent to a non-U.S. address. Condition: fair. The poster is brittle and it is mostly separated into four sections along the foldlines and there is some tattering and paper loss along the foldlines and around the edges. Please do not bid on this poster unless you can accept that it will need to be backed before it can be displayed! Learn More about condition grades
