An Original Vintage 6 1/2" x 8 1/2" [17 x 22 cm] News Photo (Learn More) Eleanore Whitney (born Eleanor Wittenberg, and at first billed as "Eleanor Whitney") was an actress in the 1930s. In 1937, Modern Screen reported that she broke the World Record for the fastest tap-dancing: 60 taps in four seconds. She only made a total of 14 movies, and in 1939, at the age of 22, she married well, and never made another movie, although she lived to be 66 years old, passing away in 1983. Some of her movies include: Rose Bowl, Thrill of a Lifetime, Turn Off the Moon, Blonde Trouble, and The Big Broadcast of 1937 AND Sam 'Schlepperman' Hearn was an actor and radio star from the 1920s to the 1950s. He played the character "Schlepperman" on Jack Benny's radio show, and appeared on his television show several times (but only once as Schlepperman!) Some of his movies include: Barbers' College, The Big Broadcast of 1937, and Once Upon a Horse Important Added Info: Note that this news photo measures 6 1/2" x 8 1/2" [17 x 22 cm]. Condition: fair to good. The news photo was printed from a poor quality negative, and there are many marks that are within the printing, including in both stars' necks (see our image). Note that the news photo is rippled in the top and bottom borders and that causes it to not lay completely flat. This causes "distortion" in our image because it does not lay completely flat in our scanner, but this distortion is solely in our digital image, and NOT in the still itself.
