An Original Vintage Stage Play Script (measures 8 1/2" x 11" [22 x 28 cm], 39 pages) (Learn More)

Oh Glorious Tintinnabulation, the 1974 June Havoc Off-Broadway musical stage play. We know that a version of this play opened May 23, 1974 at the Actors' Studio Theatre in New York, but we think that this play was written in 1955 (there is a calendar page inside the script that is dated Wednesday, September 7, 1955), and we think that the play was unproduced at that time, and that someone later produced it in 1974 (and the script definitely appears more likely to be from the 1950s than from the 1970s). Of course, June Havoc was the sister of Gypsy Rose Lee, and she was a movie actress who turned to writing later in her life. If anyone knows more about this play, please e-mail us and we will post it here.
