It is the "original prompt script" that was used in the production of this play at the Pasadena Playhouse on January 23, 1938, and it has an inscription stating this written by Phillip Van Dyke and dedicating it to his uncle. There are many pen and pencil notations throughout the script, no doubt written by the director. Condition: very good. Part of the title page was ripped out, but only blank white paper was affected.
