Private Worlds, the 1935 Gregory La Cava psychiatrist psychiatry mental hospital melodrama (a movie that was far ahead of its time in two different areas!; it makes the case for compassionate treatment of mentally ill people in mental hospitals, and it also has Claudette Colbert playing a female psychiatrist in a strong positive role at a time when few movies allowed women to play such roles!) starring Claudette Colbert (nominated for the Best Actress Academy Award for this film), Charles Boyer, Joel McCrea, Joan Bennett, Helen Vinson, and Guinn 'Big Boy' Williams

Important Added Info: Note that this window card has had its bottom 2 1/2" trimmed and it now measures 14" x 19 1/2".

Condition: fair. The bottom 2 1/2" of the card was trimmed off, which extends into the bottom of the credits. There are stains and smudges throughout the card and some creases, tears, and nail holes in the borders. Someone put a piece of clear tape on the back of tears in the middle left of the card.
