eMoviePoster.comAuction History Result 9k028 BREED OF THE WEST TC 1930 cowboy Wally Wales with Virginia Brown Faire in tree, ultra rare! Date Sold 10/3/2019Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Title Lobby Card (LC TC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) Breed of the West, the 1930 Alan James (billed as "Alvin J. Meitz") cowboy western ("An All-Talking Action Feature") starring Hal Taliaferro (billed as "Wally Wales"), Buzz Barton, Virginia Brown Faire, Robert Walker (billed as "Bob Walker"), Bud Osborne, Bobby Dunn (billed as "Bobbie Dunn"), Lafe McKee, and Edmund Cobb. Note that Buzz Barton had a successful career as a juvenile in westerns in the 1920s (billed as "The World's Greatest Juvenile Western Star"), but as he aged, parts became scarcer, and this was one of his last substantial roles. Also note that the Robert Walker credited above was NOT the Robert Walker who starred in the 1940s and 1950s, but a different Robert Walker who started making movies in 1913, and he appeared in an amazing 255 movies through 1953, a 40 year span, but most of those were westerns, and a lot of them were very minor roles, often uncredited. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that first release 1930 movie paper from this movie is incredibly rare. We have only auctioned a single scene lobby card from this movie (and no posters) until we received this title card! Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: very good. A tiny bit of the top left blank corner was detached, and someone repaired it with tape from the back. There are some faint smudges in the right border. Otherwise, the card is in pretty nice condition. Learn More about condition grades
