An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (measures 11" x 14") (Learn More)

The Big Broadcast of 1938, the 1938 Mitchell Leisen romantic all-star musical comedy ("Based on an adaptation by Howard Lindsay and Russel Crouse of a story by Frederic Hazlitt Brenan") starring W.C. Fields, Martha Raye, Dorothy Lamour, Shirley Ross, Ben Blue, Bob Hope, Lynne Overman, Leif Erickson, Grace Bradley, Tito Guizar, and "Specialties by Kirsten Flagstad, Shep Fields and His Orchestra". Note that this movie included a dance number performed entirely by African American men and women, dancing in period costumes from 1910!
NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography.
Important Added Info: Note that many of Paramount's biggest stars appeared in this all-star musical comedy, and so while I don't know how many cards Fields is in (as these cards are extremely rare!), I am sure that this is certainly the best image of Fields in the set!

Condition: very good to fine. a few light water stains in the top and right blank borders; the only noticeable ones are in the bottom right border; a light smudge just below the center of the title; a few faint creases and smudges around the edges of the card, and a faint smudge in the bottom right corner; there is a single pinhole in the middle of the bottom border. The above is all really nitpicking! I can't imagine a collector who would be happy owning this great card!
