A 1951 Realart Re-Release Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card #6 (LC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) The Mummy, the classic 1932 Karl Freund Universal Ancient Egypt romantic monster horror thriller ("It comes to life!"; "The most amazing make-up ever achieved"; "Story by Nina Wilcox Putnam and Richard Schayer") starring Boris Karloff ("The Uncanny"; in the title role as Imhotep the Mummy), Zita Johann, David Manners, Edward Van Sloan, Arthur Byron, Bramwell Fletcher, and Noble Johnson (as The Nubian) NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Condition: good to very good. The entire card had darkened somewhat and it had pinholes, small tears, and some tape stains in the borders, extremely slightly entering into the edges of the image in a few places, and there were a few faint smudges and scuffs scattered in the image. A talented restorer starch-backed the card and performed restoration to the above defects, and did restoration to the front of the borders, but almost completely left alone the image area. The card looks and feels like a regular lobby card, and you can tell that it has had some border restoration, and you can see the faint smudges and scuffs in the image when you look close up, but I think the card will display fantastically on the new owner's wall!
