The Howdy Doody Show (also known as "Puppet Playhouse" and "Buffalo Bob Show"), the 1947 - 1960 television (TV) family marionette puppet comedy series (created by E. Roger Muir) starring Bob Smith (as Buffalo Bob), Howdy Doody, Bobby Nicholson, Lew Anderson (as Clarabell the Clown), and Rufus Rose
Important Added Info: Note that these TV stills, which measure 7" x 9 1/4" [18 x 23 cm], are from 1959, 12 years after the show premiered. One of the stills shows Buffalo Bob nailing up a sign saying they are searching for the eight kids who were on the very first broadcast from December 27, 1947, and that they would pay a $100 reward. The other shows a great portrait of the cast by a Christmas present that reads "DO NOT OPEN UNTIL DEC. 26". Both have paper snipes on the back, one of which has become detached.

Condition: very good to fine. The stills have the most minor of wear and are in nice condition (see our images)
