Some of his movies include: many MGM musicals (some with Gene Kelly), as well as dramatic roles like The Man With The Golden Arm (nominated for the Best Actor Academy Award for this film), The Manchurian Candidate, and From Here To Eternity (winner of the Best Supporting Actor Academy Award for this film). He, along with his best friends, were known as The Rat Pack, and he was the inspiration for the "Johnny Fontaine" character in the Godfather movies! Sinatra passed away in 1998 at the age of 82. Important Added Info: Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by Frank Sinatra ("Best Regards Frank Sinatra")! Our consignor tells us that they purchased a collection of signed photos in the early 1980s from a woman who had written to a bunch of actors in the early 1950s when she was a teenager, asking for signed photos. She received this photo back from Frank Sinatra. Our consignor can't confirm whether or not this photo was signed by Sinatra or a secretary. If a Sinatra expert can tell us whether they believe this signature to be genuine, please e-mail us, and we will post that information here.
