An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded British Quad Movie Poster (BQ; Quad Crown; measures approximately 30" x 40") (Learn More)

William Faulkner's The Long, Hot Summer, the 1958 Martin Ritt dysfunctional small town Mississippi southern family relationship melodrama ("The people of Faulkner.. the language of Faulkner... the world of Faulkner!"; "In the language of Faulkner... the frankness of Faulkner!"; based on the novel by William Faulkner) starring Paul Newman, Joanne Woodward, Tony Franciosa (billed as "Anthony Franciosa"), Orson Welles, Lee Remick, and Angela Lansbury

Artist: Tom William Chantrell
Important Added Info: Note that this British quad was folded vertically three times and horizontally three times (this being folded one time more than is sometimes done, but it is quite common with British quads, especially older ones). Because of this, this quad can be sent in one of our standard size flat packages (but if it is purchased together with quads that have not been folded in the same way, then it will of course have to be sent in one of our tubes if the other quads are unfolded, or, if it is purchased with other quads that are only folded once horizontally than it can either be sent in an oversized flat package, OR in a tube). But if this quad is purchased by itself (or solely with other quads that have been folded the same way), then the shipping can be lower, because it then fits in a standard package. But please realize that because this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time it is likely that the creases have diminished and therefore re-folding the poster will likely bring some of those creases back, but we leave that decision as to whether or not to re-fold the poster up to the individual buyer of this item. UNLESS THE BUYER TELLS US OTHERWISE, THIS QUAD WILL BE SENT ROLLED IN A TUBE.

Condition: good to very good. Note that this poster was used for a special showing for the "EMI staff" and a snipe was glued to the top right corner telling the staff that they needed to get their tickets from "Miss Steckler" (and apparently, they showed it with another movie, because there is a second circular snipe glued to the middle left of the poster, advertising "Water Wizardry")! Depending on how you look at it, the snipe is either a cool addition to the poster, or a distraction, but certainly, a professional or talented amateur can remove it.
