An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Japanese "B3" or "Nakazuri" Movie Poster (measures 14 3/4" x 21" [37 x 53 cm]) (Learn More) Ochazuke no Aji (released in the U.S. in 1964 as "The Flavor of Green Tea Over Rice"), the 1952 Yasujiro Ozu Japanese marriage melodrama starring Shin Saburi, Michiyo Kogure, Koji Tsuruta, Chishu Ryu, and Chikage Awashima. Note that Yasujiro Ozu was a legendary Japanese writer and director from 1920s to the 1960s. He is likely the second best regarded Japanese director after Akira Kurosawa, and many of his films are considered classics, and he made many movies from 1927 to 1962. First release Japanese posters of any kind from any of his movies are beyond rare! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this is an extremely rare "country of origin" poster for this Japanese movie. We have never auctioned one in all our years of auctioning! Not only that, but ANY first release posters from ANY of Ozu's movie are beyond rare! Also note that this Japanese B4 poster measures 14 3/4" x 21" [37 x 53 cm]. Finally, note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube. Condition: good to very good.
