An Original Vintage Autographed 3 1/2" x 5 1/2" [9 x 14 cm] Postcard (Learn More) Irene Rich was an actress from the 1910s to the 1940s. She was a major lead actress of the 1920s and early 1930s, but she pretty much retired in 1932, and then came out of retirement in 1939, when she continued as a character actress. Some of her movies include: The Champ, Five and Ten, and The Mortal Storm. She passed away in 1988 at the age of 96. Important Added Info: Note that this item has been personally autographed (signed) by Irene Rich! Our consignor purchased this signed photo (and two others which we are auctioning in separate auctions) at a local auction where they sold lots of vintage photographs (some autographed), and the people running the auction said that the photos came from a friend of Cecil Beaton. Many of the photos had stamps on the back from "name" photographers, and those photos were absolutely vintage to the correct years, and therefore our consignor and we think it is extremely likely that the autograph on this photo is genuine, but he does not have a Certificate of Authenticity.
