from the 1970 double bill release of The Professionals, the 1966 Richard Brooks (nominated for the Best Director Academy Award) south-of-the-border foiled-kidnapping-of-rich-man's-wife cowboy western ("When you want action - this is the one you want!"; "Excitement!"; "Based on a novel by Frank O'Rourke"; "Written for the screen and Directed by Richard Brooks") starring Burt Lancaster, Lee Marvin, Robert Ryan, Jack Palance, Ralph Bellamy, and Claudia Cardinale ("as Maria"). Note that this was a "thinking man's" western, with lots of clever twists and turns, and fine dialog. This was one of the few westerns to be nominated for an Academy Award for Best Director! AND Truman Capote's In Cold Blood, the 1968 Richard Brooks (nominated for the Best Director Academy Award) Judicial System capital punishment courtroom lawyer legal crime multiple-murder thriller ("Positively no one under 16 admitted unless accompanied by a parent or guardian."; "Two heartless young criminals"; "An appalling senseless crime"; "An electrifying motion picture"; based on the novel by Truman Capote) starring Robert (Bobby) Blake (famous child star and later an adult TV star who unfortunately was recently in the headlines for non-movie reasons), Scott Wilson, John Forsythe, Will Geer, and John Collins
