His Hour, the 1924 King Vidor silent Russia royalty romantic melodrama ("Elinor Glyn's production of her own story"; based on the novel by Elinor Glyn; about a beautiful Englishwoman who resists a Russian prince, who is known for his many conquests, but when she ends up stranded at his cabin, she falls asleep from exhaustion, and when she wakes up, she falsely assumes she slept with him, so she insists they marry to save her honor, but after the wedding, when he offers to leave her alone, she realizes he must really love her, and she welcomes him into her arms) starring Aileen Pringle, John Gilbert, Bertram Grassby, Dale Fuller, Emily Fitzroy, Lawrence Grant, Mario Carillo, and Jacqueline Gadsdon. Note that Mario Carillo was a real Italian count who came to Hollywood in 1922. He made 32 movies through 1928, but he likely either didn't speak English or spoke it poorly, because the coming of sound meant the end of his movie career, and he returned to Italy, where he lived until 1970, passing away at the age of 75.
