Date Sold 6/26/2016 Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. a lot of 6 unfolded Japanese posters (they all measure 21 1/4" x 30 3/4". Note that the items in this lot are likely from the 1940s. They all have "MADE IN JAPAN" printed at the bottom, and otherwise there is only writing in part of the borders (except for one of the posters which has a lot of Japanese writing in the image area). We are thinking that these may be from right after World War II, and that they might be some kind of series of posters, but we really have very little to go on! If anyone knows more about these unusual posters, please e-mail us and we will post it here. We do not provide a list of these items, but there are images of all of them. Measurements: 21 1/4" x 30 3/4"Condition: fair. All the posters are darkened and are fragile, with tears and tiny paper loss around the edges. The posters are in urgent need of expert professional restoration. But the posters are mostly "all there", and after linenbacking by a talented professional, the posters will look fantastic, and they will likely require little paint restoration within the images.
