A full hour and a half of the most enthralling entertainment you ever experienced... truly the miracle in motion pictures!") featuring the voices of Adriana Caselotti (in the title role as Snow White), Harry Stockwell (as the Prince), Lucille La Verne, Moroni Olsen, and Stuart Buchanan. Note that this movie is always referred to as a "1937" movie, but it actually only had a limited opening in December 1937 (no doubt to qualify for the Oscars), and then it had its wide opening in February 1938. But because it is always referred to as being from 1937, we refer to it that way as well (and of course, it is technically correct). NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this lobby card has been personally autographed (signed) by Adriana Caselotti, who was the voice of Snow White! Our consignor purchased this card at a Hollywood Ray Courts Show. Miss Caselotti was there and she signed the card in the bottom border, writing "voice of Snow White - Adriana Caselotti". Included with the card is a photo of Miss Caselotti holding the card, and that will be sent to the winner of this auction (see our images). We have not auctioned another first release lobby card that was signed by Miss Caselotti. Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: good to very good. The card has a 1 1/2" tear in the bottom border that goes through the second "t" of the autograph and into the bottom of the image. It has a 1 1/2" tear in the right of the top border and a tiny tear in the right blank border. There is a 1/2" tear in the lower left border. Someone long ago put tape on the back of those four tears. There are some creases and smudges around the edges of the card. Someone long ago did some restoration to the borders with white paint, and probably at that time, the borders were pure white, but the borders have darkened somewhat, so the white paint restoration is much more noticeable. One could choose to display this great card as it is, or one could choose to have it restored, but either way, they will have a really great lobby card that is signed by the woman who gave Snow White her voice!
