Art Students' Ball biggest, most daring ever filmed. Screen's most spectacular musical!"; "Story and Screen Play by Alan Jay Lerner"; "Lyrics by Ira Gershwin"; winner of the Best Picture Academy Award) starring Gene Kelly (in the title role), Leslie Caron (billed as "and introducing Leslie Caron"), Oscar Levant, Georges Guetary, and Nina Foch

Important Added Info: Note that we have seen an image of a different Italian one-panel poster that is more colorful, and we think that it is the first release poster (but it would have been from 1952, after it won 8 Oscars, which was the date of the first Italian release). We feel pretty certain that this poster is an Italian re-release, from either the late 1950s or early 1960s. If anyone knows more about this poster, please e-mail us and we will post it here.

Condition: very good. top 15" and bottom 6" of vertical foldline is separated; poster has darkened slightly along the foldlines and around the edges; a few small tears and minor creases along the foldlines; lower left and lower right blank borders are slightly tattered; upper left corner has some tiny tears and a small amount of paper loss; pieces of tape on back of top corners
