An Original Undated (probably 1945; from the first release of this movie in Belgium) Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked Belgian Movie Poster (measures 11" x 14 3/4") (Learn More) In This Our Life, the 1942 John Huston romantic love triangle melodrama ("Based upon the novel by Ellen Glasgow"; a pretty outrageous tale of a pair of sisters, one good and one bad, and the bad one dumps her fiancee and steals her sister's husband, and they go off and live together, but he kills himself, and the bad sister returns home to discover that her sister is now engaged to her former fiancee, and naturally, she wants to steal him back!) starring Bette Davis (as the bad sister), Olivia De Havilland (as the good sister), George Brent, Dennis Morgan, Charles Coburn, Frank Craven, Billie Burke, Sunshine Sammy Morrison, and John Hamilton NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this poster was released when France and Belgium were having severe paper shortages, and posters were printed on very small sizes, sometimes on the back of other posters or maps. We think it is likely that this poster was printed this size, but it is possible it had a blank top that was trimmed off. If anyone knows more about this poster, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Condition: good to very good. The bottom blank border was trimmed off just below the small writing (blank white paper only). There were folds in the poster and there were creases and some smudges scattered in the poster, most notably in Brent's cheek. Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed (the restorer replaced the missing blank border at the bottom), but you can see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects.
